Wax Museum

The 4th grade classes at Burton Elementary each year put on a Wax Museum about what they learned about Idaho History. The classes spend the week of the museum painting the backdrops. Ky forgot the first day and wore her brand new clothes and got green paint on them. I think this is the kids favorite part.
We have to come up with our own costumes for which ever theme the child is in. Ky was in Native American and therefore needed and indian costume. Luck for us we had the costume from Jessica. I took it and added some beads to it . It turned out really cute, and it was only a little bit itchy. (Ky thinks everything is itchy)
"I am Sound of Running Feet. I am a member of the Nez Perce or Ne Mee Poo tribe. We lived in Idaho until we were pushed out by white soldiers. It was difficult to leave out home."
