Waiting for stitches |
On Wednesday June 13, Kylynn wanted to go and play with the neighbor boy Wes. She rode her bike down and got him. They played her for a few minutes and then decided to go back to Wes' house. Ky was the first one there, the dogs were in the yard, she went over to one of the dogs and bent to pet him and he jumped up and bit her on her upper lip.

So painful to look at |
We first went to Community care, but due to how deep and location they felt it would be best to go to a specialist. They sent us to an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr Bryan Lee.
She was so brave and stayed so still. She cried and wanted to be done but she didn't move. It took about 30 minutes to stitch her lip back together. They had to do double layer stitches. In the end she ended up with 5 stitches on the right and 3 on the left.

So many stitches |
Getting bit by a dog just as your getting over your fear of dogs is not a good thing. She is now scared to even ride her bike down the road.
